Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Immediately following her dental education she earned her specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Florida where she held the position of chief resident. Board certification is the highest achievable endorsement in any medical or dental specialty, and Dr. Carly is not only board certified but recently became a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry a distinction earned by fewer than 3% of pediatric dentists. Dr. Carly has practiced pediatric dentistry in South Georgia since 2001, and she's excited about getting to know each of her patients and their parents.

While she has her fair share of hobbies (reading, exercise, traveling) and has enjoyed taking part in various charitable organizations, her greatest passion is her family. She and her high school sweetheart, James (aka “Dude” in Valdosta) have four wonderful, individual and independent children. With two in college and the two others still in grade school, she has learned even more about kids from personal experience.

Ana is a native of Jasper, FL and is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Christian School. She attended Valdosta State University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. From there, she attended Tallahassee Community College where she received her Dental Assisting Certificate in 2013 and an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and Local Anesthesia Administration Certification in 2015. She graduated at the top of her class and was awarded the Dr. Mary Anne Butler Excellence Award for outstanding academic achievement.

Ana has nearly 10 years of experience in general dentistry where she cared for patients of all ages. It was during this time that she found her devotion to pediatric care. She and her husband Jesse have three sons, Gavin, Miles, and Holden. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, watching her sons play baseball, and riding her horses. Ana is so excited to be part of Dr. Carly’s dental team and looks forward to providing children with a fun and educational experience!

Amber graduated from Lowndes High School in 2009. She was then accepted into the Dental Assisting Program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and graduated in 2013. She has a wide range of experience throughout the office, from scheduling and helping patients understand their insurance to assisting while helping patients understand their treatment and importance of a healthy smile.

She and her husband, Mason, are expecting their first child this summer. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two dogs, Chief and Bowden. You will most likely find her in Tallahassee during football season cheering on the Florida State Seminoles.

Elizabeth G. is a Certified Dental Assistant. She was born and raised in Valdosta and graduated from Georgia Christian School in 2016. She then attended Wiregrass Technical College Dental Assisting Program and graduated in 2018. She brings to our practice three years of general dental experience. Elizabeth is married to her high school sweetheart, Colson, and has one daughter, Eliza. In her free time, she loves hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Dental Hygienist and Treatment Coordinator

Heather is a native to Valdosta and is a 2001 graduate of Valdosta High School. Prior to attending dental hygiene school at Valdosta State University and Valdosta Technical college, she was a dental assistant for more than 3 years. She graduated at the top of her class in 2005 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree.

Although this will be her first time working in a pediatric office, she brings 20 years of dental experience with her to our practice. Her love for children spills over into her personal life where she is the head coach for the CrossFit kids program at CrossFit Valdosta and coaches over 50 kids on any given Monday or Friday.

She and her husband Danny have two little boys, Thomas and Tucker. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She is so excited to meet new patients and cannot wait to make their experience at the dental office one to remember.

Dental Hygienist

Lori is a native of Valdosta and is married to her high school sweetheart Brent. They have 3 boys, Dawson, Sawyer, and Easton. She graduated from Lowndes High School in 1990 and attended Valdosta State University for 2 years doing her core classes before being accepted to Dental Hygiene School. She graduated from Darton College in Albany with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. During this time, she received the “Golden Scaler” award which honors dental hygiene students who show exemplary skills while treating patients. She also received the 1994 Faculty award voted on by her professors.

Lori has over 26 years of experience in general dentistry. This is her first time working in Pediatrics but has always had a passion and the heart to work with children.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, watching college football “ROLLTIDE” and spending time with her family watching her boys play sports.

Lori is so excited for her new adventure in Pediatrics and cannot wait to give your child a fun and memorable experience at our dental office!

Marketing and Social Media Coordinator; Technology Coordinator

Leigh Anne oversees our office marketing and promotions, as well as the office's social media accounts and everything else technology-based.

Leigh Anne was born and raised in Valdosta, GA. She graduated from Lowndes High School in 2007 and then graduated college with a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University with a Major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then went on to complete graduate school, obtaining a master's degree through the college of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

She has worked for Dr. Carly for 11 years and is excited to begin another new adventure with her awesome team. She loves meeting and interacting with patients and new people constantly and feels passionate about serving our community. She is a member of the Valdosta Junior Service League, the R. Wayne “Bubba” Alexander Scholarship Board and an advisor for Phi Mu at Valdosta State University.

She is married to Brandon, a software developer for Azalea Health. In her spare time, she likes to cook, travel, read and to spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys playing tennis and watching sports.

New Patient Care Coordinator

Lena is a 1989 graduate of Lowndes High School. After high school, she attended Valdosta StateUniversity and Valdosta Technical College, where she became a nationally certified Surgical Technologist. Lena has worked for Dr. Carly for 13 years. She has been married to her husband Brandon, who is a retired Air Force veteran for 25 years and together they have one son, Brady. Lena loves to travel and enjoys reading, but spending time with her family makes her the happiest!
